“VILLAGE AND TOWN CORRUPTION” Print on paper

Only 100 sets were made. Printed using high-quality inkjet jiggle printing on fine art paper with excellent texture, acid-free, and lignin-free for long-term preservation. Every print is hand-signed by the artist. The artwork “ กินบ้านกินเมือง” (1994) depicts creatures created by blending human body shapes with skulls of various animals, such as wild boars, dogs, cows, and monitor lizards. The artist aims to satirize the media and people who are selfish and willing to destroy even the environment they live in for their own benefit. The atmosphere of the artwork is vivid and strange, with every detail carefully conveying the social reality where some individuals have hardened hearts driven by greed, exploiting nature for personal gain. This piece also embeds Buddhist philosophy, illustrating that even those who destroy nature are simultaneously being slowly consumed and deteriorated by nature itself.
